USDA Team Nutrition

Team Nutrition supports national efforts to promote lifelong healthy food choices and physical activity by improving the nutrition practices of the child nutrition programs. Team Nutrition provides resources to schools, child care settings, and summer meal sites that participate in these programs.

NE Farm to Preschool

Farm to preschool encompasses efforts to serve local or regionally produced foods in child care settings; provide hands-on learning activities such as gardening, farm visits, education, and culinary activities. Nebraska Harvest of the Month is a statewide farm to school program that features a different Nebraska specialty crop each month of the school year.
