About the Buan Lab

The Buan Lab seeks to understand the process of biological methane production and how we can apply that knowledge to create bioproducts and renewable energy.  We incoporate the study of evolution, genetics, genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, biophysical biochemistry,  genetic engineering and synthetic biology into our research.
