  1. Attend.

The College of Law social calendar is always a full one – tailgates, reunions, lectures and more. Come back and visit with other alumni, meet our current students, and engage with the College!

  2. Give.

The College of Law has benefited tremendously from the generosity of our alumni and friends. We are able to attract incredible students because they receive scholarships funded by private support. Our students participate in competitions, attend programs and lectures, and receive awards for their efforts – all because our alumni and friends make it possible. In the last ten years, private financial support has built new classrooms, beautifully renovated our auditorium, and most recently funded a new addition that will house our clinical and experiential learning programs.

  3. Hire.

Our Career Development Office will help connect with a student who is interested in what you do, provide you an opportunity for an on-campus interview, or if you're still looking for the right fit, can provide job leads. Plus, our students are always eager to talk to alumni in different legal markets and in specific practice areas.

  4. Share.

Update your contact information so that we are able to keep in touch. Share a story about yourself or other alumni to appear on our website, in The Nebraska Transcript, or submit a class note to share your news and keep your classmates updated!

  5. Volunteer.
      • Between the Grether Moot Court Competition, Allen Moot Court Competition and the Trial Team Competition, judges are needed to help our students take their experiences to the next level.
      • Mentoring serves as a bridge between the theory and the practice of law. Students learn by example from mentors who care deeply about improving law and its administration, have high expectations for themselves and their colleagues in the profession, and are willing to help guide those who follow them into the profession. Mentoring is a great way to make a difference in the life of a student, regardless of your location. Applications for the 2020-21 academic year are currently being accepted.
