The College of Journalism and Mass Communications will hold its Fall 2011 "Salute to Graduates" on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at Harold and Marian Andersen Hall, 200 Centennial Mall North in Lincoln, Neb.
The recognition ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the J.C. Seacrest Lecture Hall. Graduates should report to the lobby of Andersen Hall at 4 p.m.
In preparation for the program, we'd like to know a little bit about you and your plans after graduation and the number of guests who will be in attendance. The online form is available on the CoJMC website at http://www.unl.edu/journalismstudents/stg.shtml.

Academic Regalia
All participants are required to wear academic caps and gowns at Commencement. You may order caps, gowns, hoods and graduation announcements in person or by mail from the University Bookstore, General Merchandising Area, Lower Level, Nebraska Union on City Campus. Direct your questions about regalia and graduation announcements to the Bookstore (402-472-7300).
Commencement
Commencement will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. in the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Please be at the Devaney Center Indoor Track no later than 8:30 a.m. You may leave personal items and valuables with your guests. The processional begins promptly at 9:20 a.m., and you must be in your regalia and in proper order before that time. Marshals wil lplace late arrivals. The ceremony will conclude by noon.
Parking
Parking for the ceremony is available in the Innovation Campus grounds (on the former State Fair grounds) and the Sports Center lots without charge. All entrances to Innovation Campus will be open; please use the 27th Street gate when arriving and departing. Please be aware that the 17th Street railroad crossing near the Devaney Center is permanently closed. Please allow plenty of time to park and arrive at the staging.
