Ethanol In-depth Reports

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications is offering a free viewing of The Ethanol Maze, an in-depth look at the complicated issues surrounding the fuel from America's Heartland. The showing will be held at the Ross Theatre on October, 2nd, from 2-3 p.m. Immediately following the film, U.S. Senate candidates Mike Johanns, Scott Kleeb and Steve Larrick will discuss and debate America's energy policy and where ethanol fits into it.

All events are free. Space is limited so if you would like to attend, please RSVP by October 1st to ethanolrsvp@gmail.com. Copies of the documentary and a 75-page, full-color magazine on the ethanol project will be available for sale in the theatre lobby. This ethanol series was researched, written and photographed by eight University of Nebraska-Lincoln journalism students as part of a yearlong class project investigating the pros and cons of corn-based ethanol.
