Adam Wagler, a lecturer at the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, spent two weeks in late August at Colle+McVoy, an interactive advertising agency in Minneapolis, Minn.
Wagler said the visiting professor program strengthens the relationship between the industry and higher education.
"We had some great conversations about preparing students for their careers and advertising education," he said. "I'm excited to be able to use this experience to bring real-world experience into my new media classes."
Wagler's two weeks were spent exploring the techniques to develop interactive products, gaining knowledge of research analytics, becoming current on presentation practices and engaging audiences in advertising campaigns using social and mobile media.
