The CoJMC has 5,638 alumni living and working in all 50 states and in more than 24 countries. We are grateful our alumni are loyal and want to stay connected with the college. Drop us a line and let us know what you're up to. We find these snippets often end up in our class notes section and lead to feature stories in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's alumni publication, Nebraska Magazine.
Hire a College of Journalism and Mass Communications student
We hope you hire one of the many talented students—those who will be graduating and are looking for their first job as well as students eager to get a leg up and get internship experience. We've created an online form for you to send us the job description. If you're looking for another job opportunity, we are posting notices that range from entry level to senior positions.
College of Journalism and Mass Communications Events
The J school and UNL host a J Days celebration each spring at which we honor students and alumni. We accept nominations online year round, and nominees remain in consideration for three years. Here's a list of past winners.
Support the College of Journalism and Mass Communications
When you are contacted by a University of Nebraska student, we hope you will give to the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Private support continues to be the backbone of the CoJMC. Your investment—large or small, scholarship or a piece of equipment—will help to build our program. Please take three-and-a-half minutes to hear firsthand from students and alums about the value of giving to the college. Here's a wish list of equipment and opportunities to which you can donate as mentioned in the December 2012 campaign newsletter. Contact Joanna Nordhues, at jnordhues@nufoundation.org to discuss a gift.
