Advertising/PR students take home 19 ADDY® Awards

Feb. 4, 2012 — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln took home five Gold and 14 Silver ADDYs® at the ADDY® Awards held in Omaha February 4.

The College of  Journalism and Mass Communications dominated in the animation category; won in interactive website, illustration, mixed media campaign, logo design, magazine campaign, poster, poster campaign and brochure; and garnered a Special Judges Citation.

Students' winning entries will be forwarded to the district competition April 19 to 20 in Kansas City, Mo., said Amy Struthers, associate professor of advertising and public relations.
