Small Plot On-Farm Replicated Research
The following small plot studies were conducted in growers'f fields. The research objective, summary, date, and study title are listed for each farm research study.
Impacts
In 2010-2011, 97% and 86% respectively of Crop Production Clinic and Pesticide applicator training attendees planned to implement practices validated by on-farm research on their farms.
Follow-up surveys showed 80% implemented one or more on-farm research proven practices in their operations. 59% of those who implemented a practice observed a 1-6 bu/acre yield increase with average value increase of $11-15/acre.
