Aronia Berry Research Team at UNL is focusing on the value-added ultilization of aronia berries in United States. By collaborating with our partners at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Connecticut, American Aronia Berry Association, and A+ Berry Company, we aim to convert aronia berries, a superfruit mainly grown in the Midwest, into functional foods and ingredients. We are dedicated to developing a sustainable aronia berry industry in the United States.
Dr. Changmou Xu, the PI, has disclosed a significant financial interest in A+ Berry Company as a Co-founder. In accordance with its Conflict-of-Interest policy, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Conflict of Interest in Research Committee has determined that this must be disclosed.
