Gabriel is an enrolled member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His dissertation focused on the question of the meaning in life, and how it is achieved in ordinary life contexts. His future research interests are to explore the role of education in meaning in life. His career interests are to serve Native American students within a university system, by providing comprehensive support for them as they navigate their way through college. He is excited to work on the expansion of existing MATC outreach programs to help achieve that end. |
