The program provides the scientific foundations to prepare you for many nationally recognized certification examinations, as well as admission to health professional graduate programs such as physical therapy, physician assistant, occupational therapy, chiropractic, athletic training, dietetics and more.

Innovative Curriculum
Engage in rigorous curriculum combining multiple sciences along with nutrition and exercise courses while having flexible elective hours built in. This program provides comprehensive preparation for study at the graduate level.
Research and Outreach Opportunities
Conduct research alongside expert faculty on several nutrition, exercise, and health topics. Research opportunities are available in the areas of muscle function and sports nutrition as well as aerobic and resistance exercise responses. Engage in programming and make an impact across the state through the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases or Nebraska Extension.
