Andrew Pederson

Andrew Pederson is the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities Project Specialist. Andy coordinates Center-wide project portfolio and information management, supports Center communication, and assists with quality assurance on digital projects. In 2020, Andy facilitated newspaper microfilm digitization, produced metadata, and applied quality control standards for the Center’s National Digital Newspaper Program NEH Grant, which resulted in 100,000 freely and publicly accessible digitized historic newspaper pages. Andy has contributed to digital projects such as Nebraska Newspapers, Nebraskaland Magazine Digital Archive, and Nebraska Stories of Humanity.

Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
