The SNR Graduate Student Association hosts a number of social events every year.
The evening of the Fall Orientation, we host a Fall Barbeque to welcome new students, faculty, and staff. All SNR students, faculty, and staff are invited. Keep an eye out for an e-mail and fliers!
We host a Spring Wine and Cheese Party to get re-acquainted after the winter break. Staff and faculty bring the wine and students bring the snacks! Keep an eye out for an e-mail and fliers!
In 2014 we began hosting SNR GSA First Fridays, on the (you guessed it) first Friday of each month (except June, July, and August) from 4-6pm. We ask for a small donation at each event to ensure the beverages and snacks are paid for at the next event.
We hosted a Thanksgiving Lunch in Fall 2012, with great food and a good turnout. We hope to make this an annual event!
