Christina is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She recently matched for internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington Sate, where she will be commissioning as a Captain with the US Army. She is interested in studying posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide in the military population, particularly following combat-related traumas. She is interested in developing treatment protocols that can be efficiently and effectively applied to the military population, where a unique factor of stigma is associated with those who seek traditional psychotherapy resources.

Christina graduated from Skidmore College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following graduation, Christina worked for three years as a research assistant at the National Center for PTSD at the Boston VA Healthcare System. During this time, Christina conducted a longitudinal assessment of Boston-area veterans who experienced chronic PTSD, assessing intervening traumatic and sub-trauma level stressors.
